　　纪律是我们党的生命线。纪律严明是党的光荣传统和独特优势，新时代新征程，如何在“赶考”路上交出优异答卷？一颗苹果的故事里有答案。

　　2022年初秋时节，党的二十大开幕前两个月，习近平总书记在辽宁考察，第一站便来到位于锦州市的辽沈战役纪念馆。

　　英烈馆内，悬挂着一面“仁义之师”锦旗。锦旗背后的故事习近平总书记很熟悉——

　　辽沈战役期间，锦州地区的苹果树上果实累累，尽管在此地构筑工事的解放军战士劳累饥渴，但是都自觉遵守“三大纪律、八项注意”，没有一个去拿苹果。东北野战军总司令部在一份作战总结的电报中，专门汇报了军队纪律方面的情况，并提到了“不吃苹果”这件事。时隔8年后，毛泽东同志对这件事仍记忆犹新，在党的八届二中全会上发表重要讲话时说：“锦州那个地方出苹果，辽西战役的时候，正是秋天，老百姓家里很多苹果，我们战士一个都不去拿。我看了那个消息很感动。在这个问题上，战士们自觉地认为：不吃是很高尚的，而吃了是很卑鄙的，因为这是人民的苹果。”
